(1 short-term position)

Key Qualifications: 

• University degree in a discipline related to environmental science, environmental management, or other relevant disciplines.
• Good knowledge of Indonesia environmental regulations.
• Good knowledge of IFC Performance Standards and their applications
• At least ten or more years of experience with environmental and social safeguard compliance works and application of IFC Performance Standards
• Experienced in developing Environmental Impact Assessment (ESIA/ AMDAL/UKL UPL) and/or implementing environmental management plan and environmental monitoring plan (RKL RPL/UKL UPL).
• Experienced in developing Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS)
• Familiar with projects implementation in remote areas of Indonesia
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English
• For the short-term position, incumbent shall be available in an on-call basis during the period of September to November 2016.

Main Roles: to review the design submittals on environmental safeguard and compliance based on IFC performance standards for community renewable energy projects.
